(7) (44) Eseg.21:25-27
"25 En jy, onheilige, goddelose, vors van Israel, wie se dag gekom het in die tyd van die uiteindelike afrekening — 26 so sê die Here HERE: Die tulband moet weg, en die kroon moet af! Dit bly nie so nie: Na bo met wat nederig is! Na onder met wat hoog is! 27 Puinhoop, puinhoop, puinhoop sal Ek dit maak. Ook dit sal nie bly nie — totdat Hy kom wat daarop reg het, en aan Hom sal Ek dit gee."
The last king of Judah
"And you, O profane ([Ezek. 17:19; 2 Chr. 36:13; Jer. 52:2]) wicked one, prince of Israel, (ver. 29; Ezek. 22:3, 4) whose day has come, (Ezek. 35:5) the time of your final punishment, thus says the Lord God: Remove the turban and take off the crown. Things shall not remain as they are. ([Ezek. 17:24; Luke 1:52]) Exalt that which is low, and bring low that which is exalted. A ruin, ruin, ruin I will make it. [ver. 13] This also shall not be, (Gen. 49:10; Zech. 6:12, 13; John 1:49; [Rev. 17:14]) until he comes, the one to whom judgment belongs, and I will give it to him."
